AFHL Schedules released for 2025-26 Regular Season

The U18 AAA, U18 AA, U15 AA, and U13 AA divisions of the Alberta Female Hockey League have released the schedule for the 2025–26 season.

A total of 743 games have been scheduled across the four AFHL divisions for the upcoming season.

The U18 AAA season opens on October 3 with Calgary Fire Red visiting the Rocky Mountain Raiders. The division’s Showcase weekend will take place December 20-21, hosted in Red Deer. The U18 regular season wraps up on March 1

The U18 AA division begins play on October 18, with the Rocky Mountain Raiders travelling to Red Deer to play the Chiefs. The North Central Impact and Leduc Minor Hockey will host the U18 AA Showcase from October 31 to November 2. The U18 AA season concludes on March 1.

The U15 AA season kicks off October 17, as the Sherwood Park Royals take on the St Albert Raiders Chargers. The league expands from 14 to 15 teams with the introduction of the Camrose Wildcats. The Showcase is scheduled for November 7-9 in Lethbridge hosted by Lethbridge Minor Hockey and the Southern Express. The U15 regular season ends on February 22.

The U13 AA division will return for year three of operations with an expanded 17 team structure, adding Bow Valley (Cochrane) and Wood Buffalo (Fort McMurray) to the table. The league drops the puck on October 17 with a matchup between the Camrose Wildcats and Wood Buffalo Huskies. League play will take a pause from December 12-14 as teams compete in a Play-In Qualification for the Alberta Winter Games, with the qualifying teams earning a trip to Cold Lake from February 14-16. The U13 AA season wraps up March 1.
