AFHL U13AA SHOWCASE TAKES PLACE THIS WEEKEND FROM DECEMBER 6-8!

AFHL Provincials Recap Week 2 – Red Deer Sutter Fund Chiefs and Lloydminster Western Financial Steelers are Champions

The Alberta Female Hockey League (AFHL) U18 AA provincial champions are the Red Deer Sutter Fund Chiefs.

During the second week of the 2024 Hockey Alberta Provincial Championships presented by ATB, the U18 AA division gathered in Okotoks from March 28-March 31 to determine a champion.

The Chiefs secured the banner with a 2-1 victory over the Calgary Fire White on Sunday afternoon.

The St. Albert Raiders Sharks defeated the Rocky Mountain Raiders to win bronze by a score of 4-2 earlier on the Sunday. The Sherwood Park Fury rounded out the provincials in fifth place.


The Alberta Female Hockey League (AFHL) U13 AA provincial champions are the Lloydminster Western Financial Steelers.

The U13 AA division gathered in Lloydminster during the second week of provincials to determine a champion.

The Steelers won the banner in a 3-1 victory over the Calgary Fire Red.

The Sherwood Park Monarchs defeated the St. Albert Raiders Bolts to win bronze by a score of 6-3 earlier on the Sunday. The Central Alberta Twins rounded out the provincials in fifth place.
